Dipharma is pleased to contribute once again to the Università degli Studi di Milano’s II Level Master’s Degree in Process Chemistry Applied to Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for the 2025/2026 academic year.
As part of this collaboration, our colleague Chiara Vladiskovic, Solid State Expert in our R&D team, is delivering a three-lecture module, with sessions held on June 19, June 26, and July 3.
Her lectures focus on solid-state chemistry and polymorphism in the pharmaceutical industry, exploring the importance of polymorphism in active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), the differences between solid forms, and their impact on pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, formulation, intellectual property, and regulatory considerations.
Students are also introduced to Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXRD), the primary analytical technique used for solid-state characterization, together with an overview of complementary analytical methods and their applications.
