We are delighted to inform that Dipharma Group is giving its contribution to the virtual XXVII National Congress of Italian Chemical Society (SCI), which is currently taking place, from September 14th to 23rd.
Our R&D Researchers Roberto Rossi and Nicolas D’Imperio will participate as speakers this afternoon, September 21st, with the following subjects:
- Roberto Rossi will bring the industrial experience on “Problem solving in Pharmaceutical processes: isolation, characterization and synthetic preparation of unknown impurities in 4-piperidinepropanol manufacture”. The presentation will focus on impurity management strategies in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Nicolas D’Imperio will give a presentation entitled “Olefins from carbonyls. Development of new phosphorus-based cross coupling reactions”.
The presentation is the acknowledgement for Nicolas’ research concerning the development of new transition metal-free methodologies for alkenes’ synthesis from two carbonyls and awarded with the “2021 Junior Organic Chemistry Research Award for the Development of Processes and Products in Industry” from the SCI. The award was presented to him on September 15th, during the SCI Congress.
